On “Call Me for More”, Dari and Yanzet dive into the realm of indie folk for the first time, and this comes as such a surprise since they sound absolutely comfortable in this space.
Dari and Yanzet are two soulful powerhouse vocalists based in Orange County who produce a diverse sound of contemporary r&b, soul, and pop. There is a lot that draws us into the experience of “Call Me for More”; personally, the songwriting had me hooked from start to finish. With their lush, soothing vocals the pair welcome listeners to themes of introspection, self-sabotage, and sorrow to the point where they can be incredibly relatable through their words. I can’t neglect to mention the comforting soundscape created by the harmonies and glossy guitar arrangements.
